Should you repair or replace a solar system in Florida?
In almost every case, repair. Solar panels are built to last 25 to 30 years, and most "dead" Florida systems fail because of one repairable part — an inverter, a pump, a sensor, a valve, or a roof-penetration leak — not the panels themselves. A full replacement is rarely necessary and typically costs 5 to 10 times more than the repair.
